Higher Education Program for Executive-Level Assistants (HEPLA)

• Offered by: School of Continuing and Professional Studies
• Overview: HEPELA is an on-Grounds, 12-session program built for the University of Virginia. Effective assistants can make impactful contributions to all levels of the organization and staying relevant is crucial. The HEPLA program will support EAs in growing personally, navigating logistics, solving problems, and delivering results.

Business Essentials

• Offered by: McIntire School of Commerce
• Overview: The Business Essentials online certificate program includes a highly focused curriculum that provides you with a solid understanding of four key business concepts and how you can apply them in the workplace. UVA McIntire’s expertise in the case method of teaching gives you the opportunity to analyze real firms and business scenarios, and engage in
  online discussions with faculty and your peers.
