The UVA Community MLK Celebration Event begins with a community walk at 9:30 a.m. at Riverview Park.

AT 11:30 a.m. the Keynote Speaker, Alison Mariella Desir starts the program and is followed with a panel discussion. Desir is the author of best-selling book Running While Black and the tv host and producer of the award winning PBS

There is a new UVA Employee Primary Care clinic located on the third floor of the Collins Wing in the West Complex of the University Medical Center at 1300 JeDerson Park Ave. The primary care and same-day care option is available to all UVA employees and team members of the UVA Academic Division and the University Medical Center who are enrolled in one of UVA’s Health Plans

The Staff Senate is holding elections in June. If you are interested in running, please reach out to your Staff Senator for more information.

If elected, you will serve as the voice for your organizational unit and can really make a difference, not only for staff in your area, but for staff across Grounds. You will need to submit a short nomination statement in early May.
